At a certain point in your spiritual practice, you may feel impelled to act in the world in a way that aligns with the Bodhisattva Precepts. The late Vietnamese Zen master, Thich Nhat Hanh coined the term “Engaged Buddhism” to describe such work. Grounded in an awareness of interconnection, this work takes your practice off the cushion and into the realm of social engagement.
